Diseases caused by Candida albicans, Clostridium difficile, Escherichia coli, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureus, and Streptococcus pneumoniae among others.

Basically these are organisms that under normal circumstances in healthy hosts do not cause disease   instead acting as commensals   but given opportunity due to underlying injury or disease such as immunodeficiency, can cause disease.
